Four surveys.
Nothing general.
We do not do boundary, topographic or general survey — there are good firms for that. We take on a small number of measurements that are hard to do completely, and we do those properly.

Tree counting & carbon
Every tree counted, measured and geo-tagged on one walk — not sample plots scaled up to the block. Girth, height and position per stem, and carbon built from measured volume.

Railway tunnel mapping
Long tunnels, end to end, as a single continuous scan — not a series of setups stitched together afterwards. Walked through under live running constraints, with the track in place.

Underground mining — drives & stopes
The void as actually mined, not as it was designed. Stope shapes and drift profiles captured on foot, where GPS does not reach and a static scanner cannot get the sight lines it needs.

OFC trench depth validation
Fibre trench depth measured every metre before backfill, each section passed or failed against the specified depth — with the photograph and the point cloud to prove it.

Tell us anyway. If it is a measurement someone has been estimating, it may be one we should be doing.
Each one replaces an estimate.
That is the test a service has to pass before we take it on. If the industry already measures something completely, we are not needed.
| Service | The usual answer | Ours |
|---|---|---|
| Tree counting & carbon | Sample plots, scaled up to the block | Every stem counted, measured and geo-tagged |
| Railway tunnel mapping | Setups every few tens of metres, stitched after | The whole bore as one continuous record |
| Drives & stopes | The shape it was designed to be | The void as it was actually mined |
Not on the list?
Tell us anyway. If it is a measurement someone has been estimating, it may be one we should be doing — and if we cannot do it well, we will say so rather than take the job.
